Al and Esther Bojanower purchased Madrona Hill Farm of Sherwood, Oregon, in 1960 as their summer home and a place for their extended family and friends to come together. The “farm,” as it was fondly called, was passed down to their son Paul, who in 2005 began its development into a beautiful vineyard carrying on the Madrona Hill name. The property's elevation of 450'-600’, Laurelwood soils, and sloping terrain lend favorably to the production of excellent pinot noir grapes.
Today, a new chapter in the Bojanower family farm continues, now known as Madrona Hill Vineyard, by their granddaughter, Kathy Bojanower-Bienvenu and her family.
Not open to the public.
Pinot Noir (Clones are 115, 667, 777 and Pommard, all planted on 3309 rootstock.)
